Driftwood Cottage: Walk to Dock Sq – 1 mile to beach
Conveniently nestled New England Cape is in Lower Village Kennebunk. Walking distance to Dock Square Kennebunkport and all its Restaurants, bars, shops, boating charters and so much more. Maine’s most beautiful beaches are a short bike or car ride away.
The Driftwood Cottage is a very short walk from Lower Village and Dock Square Kennebunkport as well as a short mile drive to Gooches Beach. It features 3 bedrooms and one full bathroom with an absolutely amazing sun-room with a deck for barbecuing and a large yard for lawn games.
The guests will have access to the entire home except for the basement which will have a locked door.
I try my best to be available to our guests as much as possible. I do work full time as a kitchen designer, although I am here in town. I aim to meet each of you, but also understand check-in times are often later than expected or I might not be available at your time of arrival. As you can see from our other listings, we are here to help, we take this seriously and want your stay to be the best you’ve had in Kennebunkport! I intend to build a relationship with you, so you always have a trusted place to stay, at one of my properties!
Kennebunk Lower Village and Dock Square Kennebunkport (Joined by a bridge) is a quaint fisherman’s village that has developed over the years into a desirable destination town. Now offers specialty shops, restaurants, bars, fishing and boating charters, trails to bike or walk and of course the picturesque beaches that sweep our Maine coastline for miles.
Bikes or simply walking is the best way to get around.
Kennebunkport and Kennebunk are centrally located and easily accessible from Interstate 95 just between Portland, Me. And Portsmouth, NH.
There’s an Amtrak train station in Saco and Wells, and Uber transport is available. Portland’s international jet port allows for easy flights in and out of Maine. Boston Logan is a short drive, and with a local vendor pick-up and drop-off can be arranged.
